Pregnant workers not entitled to priority treatment in a collective redundancy exercise under EU law (ECJ)

In Porras Guisado v Bankia SA and others (Case C-103/16), the ECJ has ruled on the extent to which a pregnant worker must be given special treatment in a collective redundancy exercise, taking into account both the Pregnant Workers Directive (92/85/EEC) and the Collective Redundancies Directive (98/59/EC).
