Non-party's application for joinder to enable an application for permission to appeal court's decision that segregation of male and female pupils in Muslim-faith school is discriminatory refused (Court of Appeal)

On 7 November 2017, the Court of Appeal refused an application by the Association of Muslim Schools to be joined as an interested party or intervener to enable it to apply for permission to appeal a dismissed claim to the Supreme Court. In an earlier decision, the Court of Appeal had allowed an appeal by Ofsted and dismissed the judicial review claim of the Muslim-faith school.
